GDW 47+48 & TLW 8+9 Completed, and a list of things...

Hey guys. This is just to let you know that volumes 47 and 48 of Ginga Densetsu Weed and volumes 8 and 9 of The Last Wars have been posted (I actually posted GDW47 and TLW8 a while ago, but forgot to post about it). I will start working on GDW 49 eventually.

You can access any Russian Arc or TLW volumes I've completed at the top of the blog (or just click here, if you're on mobile or too lazy to look...)

You may have noticed that TLW chapters 169-172 are unavailable. I've temporarily removed them because the volume they are in has just been posted, plus the volume translations are much more accurate and easier to read. I encourage you to download TLW09 to access these chapters.

I've been getting requests to zip up the chapters I've posted on this blog and turn them into downloadable volumes. I will not do that for the following reasons:

  • It gets rid of the point of this blog, which is to post chapters whenever they become available.
  • The posted chapters are technically not volumes. They come from several Manga Goraku issues. I will not combine Manga Goraku chapters and advertise them as "volumes"
  • It will take too much time. It would require me going into my storage and/or downloading ALL of the pages from here, not to mention typesetting the chapters that haven't been typeset.  This just takes too much time and energy that I don't have these days.
  • I've made a reference access sheet for them. I took a lot of time to code it, and I encourage you to look at it from the TLW tab here: https://fantasscans.blogspot.com/2017/04/ginga-last-wars-volumes.html

MAYBE if I feel like it, I will update translations to the posted chapters so they're more accurate, but I can't bother to do so at this time.

Dragon and I will be collaborating on Yoshihiro Takahashi's FANG pretty soon, so that's one more thing to look forward to. :)
